We had a wonderful stay at the Stamford Residence Inn! The room had a nicely appointed shower with plenty of space to allow for getting ready for the day, small meal prep, and comfortable seating. The bed was comfortable and black out drapes made for an easy “sleep in late”. The hotel staff, bar staff, and valets were all helpful, friendly, and very attentive to any requests we made. We enjoyed each evening chatting and meeting folks at the bar. The surrounding area was plentiful of choices for dining, cocktails, shopping, and the little Japanese market around the corner had a wide variety of “street foods” and interesting wares. Davina, the “attached” restaurant was definitely worth our visit for dinner the night we arrived. Our meals were delicious and the gimlets we ordered were perfect! We will definitely stay here again on our next trip!
Absolutely fabulous. Amazing room, had a fridge, microwave, stove top and even a dishwasher. Good gym, open 24 hours. Good laundrette, you can do your own laundry or have dry cleaning done. Breakfast had a lot of variety. Sort of catered for keto but I had to look a bit greedy so for example, I had 3 crustless quiches plus sausage patties to fill me up. Crustless quiches were to die for, so not really a problem! The staff are all incredibly polite and helpful. Very patient. I would have liked to have tipped but wasn't sure. I did get rushed out at the end as my car turned up early. Hopefully leaving a good review will help. Don't know if there can be a subtle tip jar, or a donation option somewhere? Housekeeping was a bit slapdash the first time and then much improved the second time. Hotel is near Stamford Station and has many restaurants around it. Stamford to New York is about 55 minutes. Recommend getting a weekly pass to cover Noroton Heights and then you can shop at Palmer's Market for food if you are self catering. Didn't find many vegetable shops nearby. There is a shopping mall though. Very happy with stay, would like to visit again
